SOMETHING FOR WOMEN TO SMILE ABOUT | DENTIST BEND, OREGON

WOMEN HAVE THEIR VERY OWN DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE?!

As we celebrate the signing of the Declaration Of Independence this holiday, let us not forget that the struggle for true freedom did not end there in 1776.

At the World's Fair on July 4th 1876, the Suffragettes took a stand, led by this incredible woman, Matilda Joslyn Gage! They presented the Vice President of the United States, as well as all the fair-goers, with "The Declaration of Rights of the Women of the United States" written by Gage, Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. We included a link to the original document here, it really is a must read!

This document was a key proponent to the Women's Rights Movement and helped to create the liberty and success that American Women now hold proudly and continue to gain ground on daily.

We have come so far, don't ever let an insecure smile slow you down...

Distinctive Dentistry of Bend Oregon wishes you a Happy 4th Of July Bend, Oregon!

Join us in the fight against domestic violence July 26th in the GoodLife Brewing biergarten! Thank you to BackDrop Distilling for joining us in restoring women's smiles as they rebuild their lives. A night of cocktails, craft brews, & like minded people who build resources for Saving Grace Imagine Life Without Violence, a haven for these women and their children.
